Here's what I do:

The Keith-Lachmann Group (KLG) based in Portland, Oregon is a consulting firm designed to provide value to businesses and professional individuals. Core products and services are:

  • Business plan writing – Exploratory to Bank-Ready
  • Logistics
  • Technology upgrades & integration
  • Sales & marketing plan development
  • Cash flow management and operations

A large portion of our customers hire us to act as operational managers; thus allowing the principles to focus on vision and business development within their area of expertise. We provide a great deal of advisory work to growing businesses and helps professionals actualize vision.

I like to help:

Business owners, who realize they cannot "do it all", and understand the value of hiring professionals who can take on aspects of the company at roughly 1/3 the cost of a full time executive. Additional clients are business people who need assistance with time and fiscal (Cash Flow) management as well as business planning.

Here's what I like to do:

My education is in business and I am passionate about the inner workings of business management, development and evolution. Much in the same way that a mechanic opens up the hood of a car and it all makes sense; this is how business is for me. Planning, negotiating, cash flow, management, and people make sense to me.

Past Companies and Clients:

My past companies in which I was the owner operator:

Lachmann Enterprises – Specializing in BATF and State-to-state Liquor license compliancy as well as, creating efficiencies in building supplier to distribution channels, i.e. business development logistics.

Clients – Meritage Trading Company, Cedar Creek Winery, Burrowing Owl Winery, Lincoln Estates Winery, New Zealand, Hester Creek Winery. This is to name only a few.

I owned this company for 5 years and was absorbed by the now Keith-Lachmann Group, in which I still act as expert in the arena of alcohol compliancy but is no longer our core focus.

Grolla Restaurant and Wine Bar, Inc. – Bought in 2003 with personal finances, owned and operated successfully for six (6) years. In that time was awarded best fine dining 2003 from city search, and Best Wine List in 2005. Was selected by Rachael Ray as one of her favorite Portland restaurants in 2007 and was featured on her hit show Tasty Travels. Successfully formulated an exit strategy in 2008 and executed and sold restaurant in early 2009 for a profit.

Currently with the Keith-Lachmann Group.
A few clients Include:
Spot Color Studio, Inc.
Intelligent Data Printing, Inc.
Nouveau Reality

My professional background:

I have spent the majority of my career in business development and executive level management. As National Account Manager at Sakeone Corp., I managed the growth and brand development in 25 states. At Meritage Trading Company I was hired as the new President and grew the company by 300 percent. Within the wine industry I specialized in alcohol compliancy. Eventually I purchased a fine dining establishment which I successfully owned operated and sold over the course of 6 years. I am now continuing to work in management as a consultant to small and medium sized businesses focused on growth.

Brags and Boasts

I am a Chef, sommelier, and sake master. In fact, I assisted in making the first Dai Ginjo style sake ever to be made in America. I use to teach wine tasting and wine knowledge at PCC. I have been playing the drums since I was 9 years old and played professionally in Chicago for almost 10 years, now I volunteer and teach drumming to Chief Joseph Elementary Students.

Something You Probably Didn't Know About Me:

I am currently a supporting cast member doing film acting in the part of "Martin" in a new series that is coming out called Everything Will Be Fine, written and directed by Emmy Award winner (for work done on a show called Six Feet Under), Scott Tebeau. For more go to www.toggle.tv
