Spot Color Studio is a "virtual" full-service creative studio offering everything from initial marketing campaign development and branding, web design, logos and business cards, brochures, packaging and tradeshow booths. All types of clients, but our favorite clients are the ones that don't have the resources for an in-house marketing department. Spot Color acts as a virtual marketing department and can provide all marketing, web, graphic and advertising work as needed on an ongoing basis.

We love helping businesses succeed by making their marketing dollars work hard for them. We come up with creative solutions to brand their company and then deploy that branding across all external marketing pieces. It is very rewarding to see a unified look and feel as well as messaging across all of our clients marketing pieces.

My professional background:
I started Spot Color Studio six years ago. I have a BS degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Advertising, and I've been designing professionally for the past 15 years. I started out at PPI, a company that specialized in designing tradeshow booths as well as historical and interpretive museums. Spot Color Studio continues to create a museum or two per year, the most recent being The Pendleton Round Up Hall of Fame and The Tillamook Creamery. In addition, I was employed as an art director for several high tech companies. These companies are where I honed my branding skills—carrying the same look and feel across all marketing components including websites, collateral, packaging, ads, UI design, direct mail and tradeshow booths.
Brags and Boasts:
While in design school, I had to pass a portfolio selection to move onto the upper division classes and obtain my degree. 175 students presented their portfolios, 15 students were accepted into the program, and I was one of those 15. More recently, Spot Color has helped several of their clients achieve amazing sales and marketing results. An intensive direct mail campaign for GTS resulted in a 6% hit rate and $1.5 million in pipeline revenue for the company.
Something You Probably Didn't Know About Me:
I am an entrepreneur at heart. I am excited to learn about my clients' businesses as well as keeping open to new opportunities for collaboration and new business ideas. I have a passion for restoring and renovating old homes in the Portland area. My husband Vince and I are working on our fifth "fixer." I also love to help empower and create abundance for other women. My friend, Angela, and I have facilitated women's groups for the past three years.
