Here’s what I do:

I help people prepare their home for sale, I advertise the house, negotiate the sale and educate my clients on the process of purchasing or selling a home. I also help people purchase and negotiate for their ideal residence or investment. I help people understand the style of their home in its original historical context (floors, molding, etc.) with an emphasis on restoration, which enhances the value of the property.

I like to help:

People who understand the value of history when purchasing a home and can see the end result instead of the present condition. People who are ready to purchase or sell their homes. I enjoy working with people about three months before they would normally start looking for a home, since it’s smoother when we’ve worked out all the potential obstacles that could come up.

Here’s why I like to do it:

I love working with people. I feel passionate about historic preservation. I also love negotiation and enjoy accompanying my clients through a process that at times may feel daunting.

My professional background:

I’m on the board of the Architectural Heritage Center. In a prior life I sold auto-CAD software for 12 years, managing the technical and sales staff. I know how to work with people and negotiate transactions while understanding the complexities of the human personality.

Something You Probably Didn’t Know About Me:

I saw Led Zeppelin in concert with their original lineup at the King Dome in Tacoma! I rode on a private airplane with Trampas (Doug McClure) from The Virginian. He cautioned me not to get involved with a particular passenger whom he said was a womanizer. Thanks Trampas!
